SBC Builders Ltd was established in 1991. With our head office based in Crook, Co. Durham we are ideally placed to cover the whole North East from Teesside to Northumberland.
We have extensive experience in the construction industry. With a firm commitment to high standards and personal service, our company has steadily grown, providing a history of successfully completed contracts and a reputation built on quality and service.
We have a well-established and dedicated workforce, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years. We currently employ around 30 people, including Contracts Managers, Office Staff and Tradespeople with an established pool of sub-contractors whom we have utilised successfully for many years.
With a strong desire to bring through the next generation of tradespeople we work closely with the local colleges to frequently employ new apprentices through our apprenticeship programme.
Our Project Management Team is led by our Company Director, Stephen Caile, who has over 30 years experience in the General Building Industry and has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the company, interfacing with clients and consultants, contract procurement and contract planning.
The Health & Safety of our workforce, clients and clients’ representatives is of paramount importance and our entire operation is controlled by strict adherence to our Health and Safety Policy.
We are CHAS Accredited Contractors and all our workforce are members of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and hold CSCS cards relevant to their experience and skills.
